Wonderful family business (ask for Rodrigo and Luz) with delicious healthy homemade food!
Great food!! Really kind family that owns the cafe made us feel so welcome :) I highly encourage you to try it out!
A lovely place on the second floor - just had coffee but the food looked good and I will return.
We ordered the huevos Mexicana and a burrito. As well as a smoothie, orange juice and coffee. Everything was delicious. The black beans were undercooked a little bit which is the only feedback I have. Oh and open on time!!
Two empty glasses on my table as I sit and enjoy the noises of people getting on with their day to day lives outside. I ordered the strawberry/mango/banana smoothie as well as a latte (not an average combination, I know). The coffee was good, nothing amazing to write home about, but definitely something I enjoyed. The smoothie was much more special though and I would highly recommend it. The cafe is on the second floor and doesn’t seem accessible other than with the stairs. The atmosphere inside is calming and has an older feel to it. The bookshelf in the corner with old, well loved, books gives an idea of what people come here for. This place is worth a stop if you just want to find some time for yourself but not somewhere I would suggest anyone go out of their way for a visit.
A rather simple restaurant, but with a good menu at very moderate prices, at very good quality and taste. We stayed for 2 weeks at SMA attending a language course - and practically every day we lunched there. My favourite are their burritos and fruit juices. A tip: in Mexico they offer the breakfast menue list till up to 1pm or longer - ask for both menues around noon, they cook for you from both, which increases the good choice even more
Honestly we had a really good lunch here. It’s not a fancy joint, and the prices aren’t expensive but the food is great. I got the chicken and bacon sandwich and my girlfriend got the balsamic goat cheese and tomato sandwich. Both were very flavorful the goat cheese was really good and the potato salad with a slight hint of turmeric was also good.
UP STAIRS!!! Simple, yet yummy food and coffee. Sweet lil' joint overlooking San Miguel's bustling street below. Enjoy, relax... It's worth the climb... LOL Cheers!
